Considering the amount of weeklies I ate (and drank) this week, and it being my birthday etc, I wouldn't have held much hope out for a good result at WI this week.

That is if it wasnt for the power of Sneaky Peeks!

Saturday it was showing -3, tho I wasn't gonna get my hopes up for that, but Wednesday morning it was still showing a loss!

So Wednesday I was careful of what I ate and drank prior to weigh in, and made sure not to eat my lunch too late (as I normally do) ...

Got to WI and...


I lost 1.5lb!!

So it CAN be done! WHO KNEW?!

chuffed to bits this week!

Brings my total loss to 40lbs

Current Weight is 10st 7.5lbs so I am now :
1.5lb from a healthy BMI weight;
3.5lb away from my 25%;
7.5lb from my Goal and
10lb from 50lb total loss!!

Birthday LBD - NSV :o)

I went Food Shopping with Hubby on Saturday, and made a short trip to the shopping centre first.
Wanted to find either a dressy top, or a dress for my birthday on Friday as Hubby appears to be planning some kind of evening outing - a meal or the like ...

Went into New look and found a lovely lacy black dress, but they only had one, and it happened to be a size 10.

I have got into a 10 dress already, but it was one that flared out at the hips, not fitted like this LBD so I wasn't at all confident going into the changing room ...

I figured I may as well try tho, since I know that I don't seem to be able to see what others can when I look in the mirror - WHAT IS IT WITH MIRRORS ANYWAY??? lol

Anyhoo ... I went into the changing room and tried it on ... And then I stood there for 15 mins trying to figure out why it looked OK!

The assistants in the changing room must have wondered what on earth I was doing with one dress for 15 mins lol but I DON'T CARE!

COS IT FITS!!!!

And here it is (minus my head as I had zero make up and my hair was a state lol) :




I'm even wearing HEELS! eek!

Well. You may notice a slight discrepancy on the Totalling of my points...

You might have noticed that today's tracker is the first time that alcohol has appeared ...

I don't drink. Tbh i don't socialise enough to drink lol.
But tonight myself and hubby went to my friend Jen's house warming party and I was given a rather strong vodka (my drink of choice IF i do have one), and on an empty stomach - my cunning ploy to not go over point on the snacks provided - it of course went STRAIGHT to my head and made my thinking very fuzzy and I can't actually remember entirely what I ate. apart from what is listed... I'm pretty sure that is right at least ... so I have added 10 onto what I have pointed to be on the safe side. 

A lot more weeklies eaten this week than I would have preferred considering I am trying to lose 2lb ... boohoo

BUT it's done, I cant change what I did, but I CAN change what I do for the next few days before WI!

I LOST 1LB!! YAY!!

Now got 9lb till where I want to be and 11.5lb to get my 50lb certificate!

1 weigh in left before my Birthday next Friday, and ideally wanted to be 10st 6lb by then to be a healthy weight ... I'm not expecting any miracles but I'm gonna try my best and perhaps I might lose 2lb to take me to a round 10st 7lb :o)
