Hubby's off at the weekend tho and the weather is meant to stay L.O.V.E.L.Y (can you believe it's OCTOBER tomorrow?!) so gonna have him drag me out the house for a nice long walk :o)
Got to eat less rubbish too. Getting out the house will help with that I'm sure :)

Looks like I miscounted by 1pp yesterday but hey ho, that was last week - fresh start today - everything counted and I walked to the shops and back (pushing cubs in pushchair) to get me off my bum :o)
I've not hit healthy, but I'm gonna wear my pedometer as much as possible this week to see more accurately my lack of exercise. I think it may be depressingly bad ... eek.
I munched too much today though. And i didn't wear my braces :o(

30 Days of Blogs - Day 12 - How You Found Out About This Blog Site And Why You Made One
I've read a few blogs - the very best of which are in my Right Sidebar :o) - and liked the look of the Blogger site the most.
I tried to blog last year about my braces, I think I published 2 posts and that was it lol.
I decided to start this blog to spur me on to goal. Only having 10lbs to lose and having been on plan for 19 months (at the time of starting the blog) I figured publicising my trackers would help greatly to encourage me to eat better.
I think it has, but my lack of exercise is probably the biggest factor now of my slow losses.
But I AM losing - and I know it'll be more maintainable this way, as I'm not one to slave away in the gym on a daily, (or even weekly, a lot of the time) basis.
I'll walk where I can.
I'll run around after my son.
I'll enjoy my life.
And i WILL get to goal

In an ideal world, I would have liked to have lost 1lb to get me back on track for the Christmas Countdown, but since this isn't an ideal world, I'm very happy with my half lb :o)
At the end of the day, it's going in the right direction (i.e. DOWN), and I am now the lightest I have been this time around.
Also I am now only 1lb from a 'healthy BMI' weight, and back down to my wedding weight - so that can't be bad can it!!

30 Days of Blogs - Day 8 - Short Term Goals for This Month and Why
1. To pass this Choccie Challenge. I've read that if you do something every day for a month it becomes habit (...?) so that would be good :o)
2. On a non WW related level - I would say to do something out of the ordinary for me, something of a challenge in terms of my social anxiety.
I think my trip to London (today - coincidentally), to meet with people I have never met, fits this criteria extremely well.
I have been to London only on a few occasions, and none of those in the last 5 years.
So it is unfamiliar surroundings, and unfamiliar people (thought not saying they are not all lovely!)
Hubby is a GEM and is journeying there and back with me, but he will be toddling off with his friend to do a bit of shopping and mooching, so the majority of my day will be spent with the unfamiliar.
But it'll be really good for me ... and I'll be SHOPPiNG! so it can't be that bad - can it! ;o)

Went shopping for some new shoes for Bubs today, and we stopped at a little Cafe for lunch.
I had a "Bacon & Cheese Melt" - it was on Wholemeal Sliced Bread, Toasted, with - from what I could see - Bacon, Onion, the TINIEST amount of cheese known to man, and Tomato.
It felt and tasted quite oily, but as Bubs had some of it too (I figured it would save me some points) I counted 4 for the bread, 4 for the Bacon, 1 for the Cheese and 1 for the Oil
...PLEASE let me know if you think this is too low - though I'm not fussed if it's too high as I'd rather overestimate :o)
As for this evening - i figured the WW strawberry meringue doesn't count as 'naughty' ... a) because it was WW! and b) because it's a CHOCCIE challenge.
I just felt like a treat today :o) YUM

Off to London for the day tomorrow to meet up with some fabulous Peeps and spend some moolah :o) (EE I'm excited!)

- Heinz Reduced Salt & Sugar Beans are the same PP as normal Heinz Beans
- Braces HURT
I had to go back to the orthodontist today as my brace wasn't fitting properly (it's a removable, 'invisible' version called Invisalign), and it ended with me going back SEVEN aligners to one that fits.
All I can say is OUCH!!!!
I'm just GLAD it was only the top aligner that had to change, cos I would be sucking soup through a straw if it had been both!
Oh the PAIN :o(
I suppose every cloud has a silver lining tho - I am going to start wearing it properly again (i.e. as close to 20 hours a day as possible) which means I can't pick between meals!
Still managed my chocolate tonight though!
Although a curly wurly was completely out of the question, I enjoyed my twirl nonetheless ;o)
Stuck to the choccie challenge again too - just 3/5pp used.
REALLY feeling positive that the Choccie Challenge + Braces + better weigh in day lunch choice will = a FAB weigh in result this week :o)

For our Honeymoon, Hubby and I visited Sorrento in Italy.
It was absolutely beautiful. The best holiday I've ever been on.
We visited Pompeii, and climbed Vesuvius. And this is just one of the stunning views from our hotel

30 Days of Blogs - Day 4 - A Habit You Wish You Didn't Have
Hmmm... A difficult one.
I have a few.
I suppose my main one would be shutting myself away from the world.
I feel so uncomfortable in new and/or social situations, and since November, I hate going places on my own - especially on my own with my son.
When I was mugged, I wasn't touched. I wasn't harmed in any way. And I didn't even lose anything of value (they got my headphones, but were after my phone. Typical, paranoid me had - 30 seconds earlier - tucked it into my waistband for the fear that this young boy was eyeing it up. Funny that...)
But the worst feeling in the world, was what COULD have happened to my Son. And I don't EVER want to feel like that again.
I hate the thought that I might pass these ridiculous paranoias onto him.
And it's GOT TO change.
I have a few.

Well I kept my promise and went to the gym :o)
Stayed around 45 mins or so and I only went on the treadmill, but I walked just under 2 miles and reached Earning mode, so I'm happy.

Met my Choccie Challenge Limit, and tagged on a fab ice lolly which I was VERY surprised and happy to find are only 2pp!! :o) YUM!
I feel like I've eaten SOOO much today though - especially looking at it as a list above.
Lots of fruit and veg!
We went walking too - I decided we'd go to Baggeridge Park, as we've never been but had heard nice things.
It was LOVELY. so pretty.
It's just a shame our walk was slow (baby-paced) and ended after half an hour when said Baby fell into a Mud Puddle. Yuck.
So we left early, and popped home for a fresh pair of trousers, and then popped to Sainsbury's to buy a couple things for tea.
By the time I was back home, in the kitchen, cooking it, my pedometer had beeped over to Earning mode!
I'm quite surprised I managed it today as I don't feel like I've done that much!
I doubt I will earn any AP by the time I go to bed, but I've done better than yesterday, and there's always tomorrow and my promised Gym visit!

Had an AWWWWWWFUL food day today.
Spent the whoooole day cleaning the house and entertaining Nico and just couldn't decide on anything at lunch time - didn't feel like anything in particular - so I just NIBBLED.
Felt horrible by the time I climbed into bed.

Wasn't sure what to expect as I hadn't had any sneaky peaks this week. Shocker!

Christmas Countdown Challenge was given out this week at the meeting - 16 weigh in's left before Christmas and we all had to write down a realistic amount of weight we would like to lose by then.
I set mine as realistic as I could, and decided to aim for 1/2lb per week - making the total loss 8lb by Christmas.
Coincidentally - with my 1lb loss from this week leaving me at 10st 8lb, that makes my Christmas target GOAL!
So. 1/2lb per week - average.
